Nashville Tennessee Photography Studios
Westlight Studios Franklin, Tennessee
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a photography event.
The event was hosted at West Lights Studios in Franklin, Tennessee.
The event was educational, with a wide range of Photography talent and modeling talents.
The photography event at Westlight Studios is very inspirational and starts out with a short educational event. Then it allows the opportunity for photographers and models to rotate through different studio setups.
Part of my role was just to be available to assist in helping others with any questions they may have and to help rotate the talents between different Studio setups.
But towards the end of the event, as the opportunity allowed, I had the opportunity to do a few portraits of a few of the models.
Here are two of the models I have the good fortune to work with.

Photography Studio Rental: 5 Benefits of Shooting in a Studio
If you're a professional photographer or just starting out, you may be wondering if renting a photography studio is worth the investment. While shooting on location can be exciting and offer unique opportunities, there are a host of benefits to shooting in a dedicated studio space.
Here are just a few:
Complete Control of the Environment
One of the biggest benefits of shooting in a studio is the ability to completely control the environment. You can manipulate the lighting, adjust the temperature, and control the ambient noise to create the perfect shooting conditions. This means you can create consistent, high-quality images regardless of the time of day or weather conditions outside.
For example, if you're shooting product photography, you can set up a seamless white background and carefully control the lighting to eliminate shadows and reflections. If you're shooting portraits, you can use softbox lights to create flattering, even lighting on your subject's face. With a studio, the possibilities are endless.
Access to Professional Equipment
Another major benefit of renting a photography studio is access to professional equipment that you may not have at your disposal otherwise. Most studios offer a range of lighting equipment, backdrops, and props that you can use to create your desired look. This can save you the expense of buying equipment yourself, as well as the time and effort of transporting it to and from locations.
Additionally, many studios have high-quality cameras, lenses, and other accessories available for rent. This allows you to experiment with different gear without having to commit to purchasing it yourself.
Privacy and Security
When shooting on location, you never know who might be watching or interrupting your shoot. By contrast, renting a photography studio provides you with complete privacy and security. You can focus on your work without worrying about curious bystanders, weather conditions, or other distractions.
In addition, studios often have secure storage areas for your equipment and gear. You can rest assured that your valuable equipment is safe and secure while you focus on capturing great shots.
Greater Creativity and Flexibility
Shooting in a dedicated studio space can also foster greater creativity and flexibility in your work. You can experiment with different lighting setups, backdrops, and props to create unique and memorable images. Additionally, you can shoot at any time of day or night, without worrying about external factors like weather or lighting conditions.
In addition, many studios offer flexible rental packages that allow you to rent the space for as long as you need. This gives you the freedom to shoot at your own pace and to take the time to get the shots you want without feeling rushed.
Professional Image
Finally, renting a photography studio can help you project a more professional image to clients and potential clients. Having a dedicated space to work in shows that you take your craft seriously and are committed to delivering high-quality results. This can help you attract new clients and build your business over time.
In addition, many studios offer amenities like Wi-Fi, coffee, and seating areas that can make your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during their shoot. This can go a long way towards building positive relationships with your clients and ensuring their satisfaction with your work.
Renting a photography studio can offer a range of benefits to photographers of all levels. Whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned professional, shooting in a dedicated studio space can provide you with greater control over your environment, access to professional equipment, privacy and security, greater creativity and flexibility, and a more professional image. So if you're considering a studio rental, take the time to research your options and find a space that meets your needs and budget.
