Accessories
- Jewelry (Assortment of necklaces, Earrings, Bracelets / bangles, etc)
- Hats
- Men's shirts
- Jackets
- Scarves
- Props
Nails
A quick tip about nails. Remember that in photographs, the viewers eyes will move to vivid colors first, especially red. So, take this into account as to whether you want people viewing your hands or your face.
- Nail polish with neutral color
- Remover kit for nail polish
A nice manicure will really enhance your model photos, especially images where your hand is near your face in close-ups so pay particular attention to your nails. This should pretty much cover you for most photo shoots.
Makeup/hair
Should align to the vision you are trying to achieve with your photos. If you have a MUA,
bring pictures to share your ideas. Please come foundation ready unless otherwise told.
Mindset
Have some ideas for the shoot to work with.
Have fun! We’re going to make you look great and you’ll have a great time.
Relax - Sleep - go to bed and get lots of rest to week of the photo shoot.
I am easy to get along with. Plus, I can help you with posing, so there’s no pressure on you.
Pack two days for the shoot. No rushing.
No Major Changes - Do not get a new hair cut before the shoot.
Arrival
Arrive early the appointment. Showing up late means you lose camera time.
Give yourself plenty of time to find your way to the shoot location. Plan for a traffic problem. Having a buffer in case you get lost will save you some stress.
Shoot start time - be 100% ready.
Style
You’re unique and beautiful. Be yourself in how you dress.
Be fashionable. Wear clothing that’s stylish and put a lot of thought into your choices.
Props
They’re great! Bring props that help show who you are. Some popular choices are:
Sports equipment (soccer ball, basketball, softball bat, etc.)
Sports uniforms
Musical instruments
Activity related items (dance, art, school clubs, etc.)
Glasses
Most lenses have a glare. The safest option is to check with your eye doctor and ask if they’ll loan you a similar pair without lenses.
Tanning
Tan lines are a distraction and take away from your photos. We suggest you use a tanning bed and varied swimsuit tops to minimize any existing tan lines. If you choose to tan outside or in a tanning bed, don’t overdo it. We don’t want you looking orange and leathery.
Guidelines for everyone...
Please be...Nice, helpful and flexible.
