After few years of  weddings photographing weddings I thought I would share some insight on some helpful tips for your wedding.
So below I have listed to most common ask questions when planning a wedding.


Frequently asked questions about Wedding Photography!


When should I book my  photographer for the wedding?
ASAP - you have competition for your wedding date.  Other brides with the same date as yours!
This is one of the most common questions to ask a wedding, photographer. After the wedding venue is booked, the next thing that should be on your list is the wedding, photographer.

Why should I hire a professional photographer for my wedding?
This is the most important images of your life.  At the end of the day, you will have your dress, wedding cake and your wedding photos.  Make the photos count!
An amateur photographer may not take your wedding as seriously as a professional.
You need a pro photographer with specific wedding experience to guarantee high-quality images.
An amateur may not have a backup, which means you’re left without a Plan B.

How much time will I need to aside for pre-wedding photo shoot?
Two hours before the service is best. That means a trial run of putting on the dress.  Make sure your hairstylist and makeup artist know that you will be photographed first. The parents are photographed second. The bride’s maids come last.
What is the best time to start my wedding service?
3 pm is the most popular time.  It will give you time for pictures after your ceremony and still allow you a 6 pm intro at the reception hall.

The wedding industry standard is 50%
Should the wedding photographer attend the wedding rehearsal?
Yes, A professional photographers will.  So they can meet everybody before the wedding and to find out the guidelines of the wedding venue.

How much time will I need to allow for my wedding photos after the wedding service?
One - Two hours is a good amount of time for the photo session.
Who should I  incorporate in the family photos after the wedding  service ?
Most weddings just have the immediate family in the photos.  

Can my guests photograph take photos as the wedding photographer is doing the wedding family poses?
Not the best idea this will interrupt the photo session.
When should I expect the finished photos to be ready?
Pro studios will have your edited photos ready within 30 to 60 days after the wedding.
What happens if my wedding photos do not turn out as I thought?
If you had a friend to shoot your wedding or you did a cash deal with a photographer then you have little recourse.  You do have legal options with a pro wedding photography studio.   Be safe not sorry.

  • Rest - Get to bed on time and sleep 8 hours.
  • Eat Right - Eat lean and no major changes.
  • Relax - Stop worry and think positive.
  • Workout - Go for a walk or yoga class.
  • Spa - A must go the day before or the day of the wedding.
