Doing street photography has helped raise my creative instincts and ability to do photography in different situations. It is more a method than a genre because I am applying the street photography approach to my fashion work.
Street photography style has always been a part of producing great fashion photography. Street photography and fashion photography are closely tied together. Understanding both has helped me grow as a photographer and the an asset to my clients.
Street photography allowed me to have amazing experiences, introduced me to wonderful people who are today my friends, and generated important work opportunities. Thanks to street photography, I met a lot of people. Street photography is overall a social experience. The fact I am shooting strangers and that you can never be sure of the reaction of the subjects is part of this challenge.
